Future Education Center

Supported by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Foundation for Science and Creativity, the KNU Future Education Center empowers educators, students, and researchers with the skills and tools for the classrooms of tomorrow.
As the heart of education innovation in Gangwon State, the center bridges the gap between technology and learning to cultivate future-ready educators and students focusing on teacher training, digital and self-directed learning, and remote education. Through interdisciplinary research and subject matter expertise, it creates future-ready learning environments.

Research on enhancing Pre-Service Teachers’ Future Education Competencies and Teacher Recruitment

Digital Sesak Project

Empowering students with self-directed learning skills, the Digital Sesak Project uses the innovative ICANHAI model to:

  • Foster computational thinking and artificial intelligence (AI) literacy.
  • Provide courses tailored for different levels and backgrounds, including specialized programs for multicultural and special-needs students.
Project Details
Empowering students with future-ready skills, the Digital Sesak Project nurtures self-directed learning and convergence capabilities. Through the ICANHAI model, this initiative places students at the center of their educational journey, empowering them to explore career paths and develop critical future-oriented capabilities such as computational thinking, artificial intelligence literacy, and digital culture proficiency. With a comprehensive roadmap encompassing diverse courses tailored for students of varying levels, the project prepares learners to thrive in an evolving, technology-driven society.
