    Foreign language examination exemption criteria*
  • * Refer to the guidelines on exemption from the qualification test for submitting a thesis in the graduate school of Kangwon National University
  • Acceptance criteria : 70 points or higher for each major subject, 60 points or higher for foreign language exam

THESIS DEFENSE

  • Publishing at least one paper in humanities, social sciences, arts, or sports, and two papers in natural sciences, engineering, or medicine in academic journals in the relevant major field at home or abroad*
  • Recommended by the thesis advising committee
  • * It is mandatory to publish in an international academic journal indexed in SCI, SCIE, SSCI, A&HCI, or SCOPUS, or in a journal listed by the National Research Foundation of Korea or higher.
